Physics induced madness (feb20/08)

Last Wed had a double physics period for us. where, the ever time efficient ms Ditas decided that we will have a quiz on the first period and a SW in the second period...how convenient....though the quiz was by partners, where mars was my partner. it still proved frustrating as it included machine efficiency things that were only briefly discussed but never practiced before.

thinking and squeezing my mind in vain had very weird results, results that we didn't need for the quiz ...

the formula for Kinetic energy is 1/2(mv²) there was this problem that didn't have the KE and the v at the same time. thinking too hard had me hallucinate that if KE=0, then i could get v and everything would be solved! except for the slight problem that when i cross multiply zero to two..it would be zero...

0=1/2(mv²)

0=(mv²)

then if divivde zero by the mass it would still be zero

0= v²

which would mean the velocity is zero...
which would mean i was wrong, and going insane

at that point my brain was smoking, and i started speaking in a russian-ish accent cuz i was panicking....

mars and i just ended up chatting cuz there was little we could do to get on with the quiz, as both of us already fell to physics madness...

mars told me the time duriing intrams where she was the player for badminton. she told me she panicked when she saw her opponent like i was panicking for our quiz now....

when i asked why she panicked:

Mikko: bakit ka nagpanick?
Mars: eh naka short skirt eh, SKIRTS ARE FOR PROFFESIONALS!!!!

=)) hehe...physics madness...maddening, and et, entertaining...
