Not all pairings are happy ones...

Pairings are all around these days...usually, they are referred to as a combination of the names of the two people involved. You know the rest...usually we try to think of the pair, though fictional in reality, as something of a romantic connection between the two people, even if they're both guys, which is actually more prevailent in this case.

I also like to think of pairs as romantic, because it's funny and sweet. sometimes though, i just tend to romanticize that pair to mask the true nature of their relationship. it's like, i'd rather think of it as a happy, funny thing than what it really is...a pitiful, sad one.

Though most of those who might read this knows this, i've already come up with another pair that you almost always see. only those select few who i've mused with know about this though. this pairing involves these two guys who're are always with each other. where one is the other one will also be. combining their names, i've come up with the hypothetical pairing of team apple.

I'd like to think of team apple as a sweet and funny homo relationship with romantic inclinations...don't look at me like that...it really is funny...i even referenced it in one of my short stories here...but recently, i've been opened to the truth behind their relationship. sad to say...it's anything but funny.

it's actually pitiful and...sad...it seems that the dominant guy in the pair (let's name him "A") is an over achiever and egotistic type of guy while (let's name the other guy "p") just wants to have friends...he's really kind too...i know him. But from what i hear, "A" is treating "P" as some sort of pet..."P" constantly follows "A" around, while "A" makes "P" do his dirty work. that's just sad...it would seem that "A" is just using "P"...while "P" looks to "A" as his friend...i also hear that "A" even takes credit for the good things "P" does...so much for happy lovestruck boys...

i like musing about this pair because i find it amusing to think of them that way...but now i guess i do it to see them in a more positive light than what's really happening...i pity "P"...moreso because we know each other...

though i might write some fiction about team apple, those will actually be attempts to turn away from the sad truth of what's really going on between them....it'll just be bittersweet hopes for a better, happier story of their lives.
