Our Les Miserables Musical has got to be one of the grandest things we'll ever do in our young lives. It's also the hardest, as it is demanding physically, mentally and psychologically. If it's that much of a strain on our already busy lives, why do we still do it?

I do it, for the personal honor it brings me in doing a great rendition of a legendary musical, for the pride it gives me and the pride it gives Ms. Nanette, for the greatness that we could inspire and display to others.

What I'm saying is that doing this, giving our best and showing people that we can do great things, to achieve something like this, is beyond any award or prize. It is a matter of pride, honor, and dedication to greatness. And when we pull this off, it will have proved our dedication to each other, to our class, to our family, to ZDN.

For that, i am truly sorry, and i ask the pardon of those who find it irritating and disconcerting and demoralizing. it's just that, i love Les Mis, and i'm really proud of the things we do, so there are times when that feeling goes to my head. I'm really sorry. i'll do my best to just be normal and not act like I own the place...]
